Who is responsible
Akasse.io is run by Benjamin Jochum, Denmark, who is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at digitaleannoncer@gmail.com. A postal address will be added here later.
What this site is
Akasse.io is an independent, non-commercial information site about Danish unemployment insurance funds (a-kasser). The site has no user accounts, and you cannot enter personal data in forms. We only process the small amount of data described below.
Necessary storage
When you choose your cookie preferences, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key "akasse-cookie-consent". This is technically necessary so that we remember your choice on your next visit. No cookie is set for this purpose, and the value never leaves your browser.
Statistics (only with your consent)
If you accept statistics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The purpose is to understand how our guides are used, so we can improve them. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) and the Danish Cookie Order. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which are stored in your browser for up to 2 years; data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. IP addresses are not logged in Google Analytics 4. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you do not consent, Google Tag Manager still loads with Google Consent Mode: cookieless signals without identifiers may be sent, but no analytics cookies are set and you are not measured.
No advertising, no data sales, no commission
Akasse.io shows no advertising, we never sell your data, and we receive no commission from the a-kasser or unions we write about.
Withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To exercise your rights, write to digitaleannoncer@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
